The new Honda CB125 Hornet will directly compete with TVS Raider 125 in the Indian 125cc motorcycle market.

TVS Raider 125 is priced between ₹87,010 – ₹1.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), while Honda is expected to price the CB125 Hornet around ₹90,000 – ₹1 lakh.
TVS Raider 125 comes in six variants (Drum, Single Seat, Split Seat, iGo, SSE, and SX). Honda’s variant details are yet to be revealed.
Honda CB125 Hornet uses a 123.94cc single-cylinder OBD-2B compliant engine producing 11 bhp & 11.2 Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
TVS Raider 125 carries a 124.8cc single-cylinder engine delivering 11.2 bhp & 11.7 Nm, also mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
CB125 Hornet accelerates 0-60 km/h in 5.4 seconds, making it quicker than the Raider 125, which takes 5.8 seconds.
Segment-first features include all-LED lights, golden USD forks, 4.2-inch TFT with Bluetooth, Honda RoadSync, Navigation, Calls/SMS alerts, Type-C charger, ABS, and side-stand engine cut-off.
Raider 125 offers Reverse LCD display, Ride Modes, SmartXonnect with TFT, Voice Assist, and Navigation but misses out on some latest features.
While the Raider 125 offers more variants and slightly better torque, the Honda CB125 Hornet stands out with quicker acceleration and advanced modern features.
