Vivo has added a new phone to its V series called the Vivo V50 Elite Edition, now available in India. Priced at around ₹42,000, it comes with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. Buyers also get free Vivo TWS 3e Buds with the phone. The Elite Edition looks similar to the standard Vivo V50, which launched earlier in February 2025. Both phones have a similar design, especially the pill-shaped camera module on the back. They both use a plastic back and a glass front. The camera setup is where the two phones differ slightly. The Vivo V50 Elite Edition has a dual 50MP rear camera (standard and ultra-wide) with Zeiss branding. The front camera is a 50MP shooter with Aura Light for better selfies. It also includes AI-powered photo editing tools.
On the other hand, the standard V50 has a triple-camera setup—50MP main, 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP front camera. This means the V50 has an extra camera compared to the Elite Edition. If you prefer more camera options, the V50 might be a better pick.

The main difference is in storage options. The Elite Edition is only available in 12GB+512GB, while the V50 comes in 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB variants. The software experience is identical on both phones.

Both the V50 Elite Edition and the standard V50 pack a large 6000mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting usage. They also support 90W fast charging, which is faster than the Vivo V40’s 80W charging. This means both phones charge quickly and last all day.
