Royal Enfield has announced a major price cut on its popular range of 350cc motorcycles. The new update follows the GST Council’s decision to reduce tax rates on two-wheelers up to 350cc, bringing them down from 28% to 18%. This reform makes Royal Enfield’s best-selling 350cc motorcycles more affordable for customers, with savings of up to Rs 22,000. The new prices will come into effect from September 22, 2025.

Big Savings on Royal Enfield 350cc Bikes
This price cut applies to Royal Enfield’s most popular 349cc range, which includes the Classic 350, Hunter 350, Bullet 350, Meteor 350, and the Goan Classic 350. Among all, the Hunter 350 gets the highest benefit with discounts of up to Rs 22,000.
The Classic 350 also sees a price drop of around Rs 20,000 across different options. The Bullet 350 now costs Rs 18,000 to Rs 22,000 less, while the Meteor 350 has received a reduction of Rs 21,000 to Rs 23,000 based on the model.
With these updates, the new prices look even more attractive. The Hunter 350 now starts at around Rs 1.35 lakh, down from Rs 1.50 lakh earlier. Its top variant is nearly Rs 1.64 lakh. Royal Enfield Bikes Become More Affordable for First-Time Buyers
The company has welcomed the GST reform, saying that it will help new customers who want their first Royal Enfield. The 350cc motorcycles are the backbone of Royal Enfield’s sales and are very popular both in India and in global markets.
By reducing prices, Royal Enfield is aiming to attract young buyers, professionals, and motorcycle enthusiasts who earlier found the brand a little expensive. Early dealer reports show that customer interest has already increased, with a rise in showroom visits and enquiries since the announcement.
Bigger Royal Enfield Motorcycles Get Costlier
While the smaller 350cc motorcycles have become cheaper, Royal Enfield’s bigger and more powerful bikes now face higher taxation. The GST rate on motorcycles above 350cc has gone up from 28% to 40%.
This means that models such as the Himalayan 450, Guerrilla 450, Scram 440, Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 will now carry a higher price tag. This price hike creates a clear divide in Royal Enfield’s lineup, where the 349cc range becomes more accessible while the larger and premium motorcycles will target only those who are less price-sensitive.
Strengthening Market Position with GST Price Cuts
Royal Enfield has been working to modernize its image while still keeping its rich heritage and classic design alive. By passing the full GST benefit to buyers, the company has focussed on making its 350cc range a top choice in the mid-size motorcycle market.
Industry experts believe this move will help Royal Enfield strengthen its market share as demand in this segment continues to rise. Lower costs will bring in new customers, while the brand loyalty and strong after-sales network will help existing riders upgrade within the same brand.
The reduced 350cc prices now make Royal Enfield more competitive against rivals like Honda H’ness CB350, Jawa, and Yezdi in a similar price range. With this new price strategy, Royal Enfield has once again secured its position as a strong leader in the premium commuter and mid-size motorcycle market in India.
