XUV700 Facelift To Launch Early Next Year With Exciting New Features
Mahindra is working on a facelifted version of the popular XUV700 SUV, which is expected to launch in early 2026. The updated model will bring new design changes and more premium features to keep it competitive in the market.
The current XUV700 has been a strong performer for Mahindra since its launch four years ago, thanks to its powerful engines, long list of features, and multiple variants. The upcoming facelift will make it even better with some key improvements.
What’s New in the XUV700 Facelift?
Recent spy shots of the XUV700 facelift undergoing testing reveal some of the changes. The front bumper and headlights will get a fresh look, while the side profile retains the sleek flush-mounted door handles. The rear may also see updated tail lamps and a redesigned bumper.

Mahindra could also introduce new alloy wheel designs and additional color options to make the SUV stand out. However, since this is a mid-life update, the overall size and mechanical setup will remain the same.

No Major Engine Changes Expected
The facelifted XUV700 will likely continue with the same powerful engines:
Both engines will be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. While Mahindra is planning hybrid technology for its SUVs in the future, the XUV700 facelift may not get these updates just yet.

Premium Interior Upgrades
Inside the cabin, the XUV700 facelift is expected to get a more luxurious feel with better materials and new upholstery options. The biggest highlight could be a triple-screen dashboard layout, similar to some of Mahindra’s upcoming electric SUVs.
Several features from the new BE 6 and XEV 9e electric models might also be added to the XUV700, making it even more feature-rich.

Mahindra’s Growing SUV Lineup
Mahindra is also preparing to launch the XUV700’s electric version, called the XUV 7e, which has already been spotted testing. This electric SUV will share many design elements with the regular XUV700 but will run on a fully electric powertrain.
With these updates, the XUV700 will continue to be one of Mahindra’s most advanced and premium SUVs in the market. Stay tuned for more updates as the launch date gets closer!
