Tata Harrier EV Launch Date Confirmed: 3rd June 2025 – Big Upgrades in Features, Power, and AWD

Tata Motors is set to launch the much-awaited Tata Harrier EV on 3rd June 2025. This electric version of the popular Harrier SUV promises better performance, more features, and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. The Harrier EV will be Tata’s first premium electric SUV, competing with models like the Mahindra XUV 9e and BYD Atto 3.

After the success of the petrol and diesel Harrier, Tata is now stepping into the electric SUV market with this powerful new model. Let’s take a closer look at what the Harrier EV will offer.

Tata Harrier EV Design – Sporty and Modern

The Tata Harrier EV keeps the bold and muscular look of the regular Harrier but adds some electric-only touches. The front grille is now closed, and the bumper has been redesigned for a sleeker look. The SUV will also get special EV badges on the doors and tailgate.

Tata Harrier EV Interior – High-Tech and Premium

Inside, the Harrier EV will have the same dual 12.3-inch screens (one for the infotainment system and one for the driver’s display) as the regular Harrier. Other features include:

  • Dual-zone climate control with touch and toggle controls
  • Steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo
  • Rotary drive mode selector
  • Electronic parking brake

Tata may also introduce new terrain response modes, making the Harrier EV better for off-road driving than the petrol/diesel version.

Tata Harrier EV Performance – Powerful and Efficient

The biggest upgrade in the Harrier EV is its dual-motor electric powertrain, giving it all-wheel-drive (AWD) capability. This means better traction and control on all types of roads.

  • Multi-link rear suspension for a smoother ride
  • Summon Mode – allows the car to park itself without a driver

The battery size and charging details are not yet confirmed, but Tata’s other EVs, like the Nexon EV, offer fast charging, so we expect similar tech here.
